[PRP] Exchange Program (Shank x In Harmony)

Post by Astraea »

In Harmony was a brand new ascended. She felt powerful. She felt reborn. She felt a newfound sense of purpose. The wisdom of the ages coursed through her body.

Or it was nerves. Prolly nerves.

Breaking out of her inner though process, the doe found herself stopped in the middle of the path.

"Ridiculous!" she scolded herself. "A doe like myself should not be intimidated!"

A rough cry echoed in the air. Harmony's heartbeat jumped. One of them, she heard one of them! She must be close! But that means..uwwaa..

Socialization.

She shuttered.
Follow the cry, the stories went. The cry will give way to song and then a choir. There you will find a paradise of feathers. A paradise of feathers, ah, even the idea of it made Harmony's nerves settle just a bit. Her mind wandered again, imagining so many feathered creatures she might encounter. But that also meant meeting their keeper.

[PRP] Exchange Program (Shank x In Harmony)

Post by fluo »

Shank was lost in her own thoughts amid the fray of circling birds. She paid them no mind. She was not their target and it's not like they moved as one body. Individual and as different as the stars, they were a chaotic swirl of feathers. She was in a mood. While her peers had ascended or found joy through motherhood, Shank felt stagnant like a forgotten pond. There was so much more that she could offer the swamp. She needed purpose. Something tugged at her subconscious but as quickly as she tried to grasp at its tantalizing tendrils, it evaded her. It was just as well that a new interloper crashed her flock party.

"Hello, are you lost?"
