PRP - A Place To Stay [In Harmony]

The work was never done.

In Harmony enjoyed it, sometimes her body did not though. The ache of cold had begun to creep into her bones, she wasn't the youngster she used to be. Sometimes she debated if Waves Under The Moon could handle more responsibility.

No. No he hadn't proved himself yet, not to Harmony's standards. He was trying though, she had to give him that.

Harmony had picked a wooded area for the muskwolves she hoped to one day befriend. It was in an area where many of the others like musks also lived, though with enough territory between to make sure no one would have any "arguments". But the land was lush with prey, fresh water, and flora should they be berry eaters as well. She'd yet to meet any and wanted to meet any food type they may require.

She had cleaned a patch of the designated land, leaves and debris had been removed from the soil and piled near by in case they made burrows or dens and needed them to insulate. The ground was soft and the soil brown and rich. She'd warned off of the larger members away from the land, she didn't want it to smell like predators or rivals though smaller familiars came and went as they pleased.

Pleased, she walked the perimeter of the cleared area, dragging her tail along the ground. It was just enough to leave a light scent in the area should the muskwolves choose to travel on their own, they would find home.

Let's see, she counted in her mind; insulation, territory, food, no repelling smells...she hoped it was good enough. She'd known a fickle animal or three but the rumours of how particular these particular animals were was something to be both admired and annoyed by. But, all the same, this should be a good enough start yes? She hoped so.

With a last look out, the place was complete. One day she'd run across muskwolves and invite them to her family. She did a little excited skip and a small giggle escaped her lips. Her family was full to bursting, but still room for more.
