"Hey, wait up!!"


Night Fishing caught up to the orange zikwa she'd seen slinking out of Sea of Tear's fishing area and smiled down at her brightly.

"Is everything okay? You looked so sad and I thought to myself 'well that won't do' and ... well, now here I am."

She kept step with the zikwa, but kept a healthy distance between them as they moved through the winter market.

"I'm Night Fishing, by the way. Guess what my favorite hobby is?"

Capable blinked up at the totoma, her ears lifting a little. “Oh, I just felt bad I couldn’t catch that nice doe any fish. I just couldn’t do it today!” She tilted her head curiously as she started to get the tiniest bounce in her step back. “Thanks for coming to talk to me, that’s nice of you. I’m Capable! Or at least, I’m trying to be,” she smiled sheepishly. “Oh I bet you’re really great at fishing then,” she smiled at her new friend.

But it's still fun! Admittedly, that's why I've been catching that doe fish ... I didn't really pay attention to why she needs them."

She pulled back and scanned the area. There was a lot here, and she'd only really done the fishing.

"Have you tried anything else?"

Capable giggled a little, tail starting to wave back and forth slowly. “Maybe she’s going to have all her family come to visit her at the winter market, and she needs a big feast for them?”

She paused too and glanced around. “I tried the stump,” she said, “twice, but…” she made a face, looking a touch haunted… “it was a bit of a weird experience…”
