Off on the outer edges of the booths, Explain Yourself paces back and forth, eyeing an entrance to a rocky area behind her warily. Some supplies for a journey are piled up nearby - gourds filled with water, some large sterilized leaves for bandages, portable snacks, and copies of what may be a map tucked here and there. Oddly, they all seem to be surrounding a large... mossy log?
Once you make yourself known, Explain may not wait for you to even ask before informing you of what's going on. "Oh good, you're here! They said they'd send someone to help, and I'm so glad it's you. We need to gather flowers to decorate this log, but they're spread across that area behind us. I've marked down the area we're looking through along with some...... Points of interest, should you come across them. We need lots, but I'm especially after those blue ones."
If you glanced beyond her into the adventure area, you'd likely spot a rocky shortcut leading you away from the main path, and a beautiful flower growing off behind it. "Yes, like that - if you stop there, there should be a craggy shortcut that takes you closer to the end. While there's no true danger in there, there are some creatures that don't like to be disturbed - if you stop on their burrows, they'll likely chase you off. Trust me, don't fight them, just run back and go past when it's safer."
If you haven't actually said no by now, or indicated you'd like to opt out, Explain will assume you're here to gather flowers, will let you take whatever supplies you think you'll need, and will offer one final remark. "We've got some rewards, your efforts won't be in vain. The more flowers you find, the better - have fun and make smart choices!"
Unless you've run away, you should take a deep breath, steel yourself, and step forward into....
TLDR; Play chutes and ladders. Roll 1d6 3x a day up to 21x a week.
It's like advent - you can roll for days you missed that week, but not for days that have not yet happened.
