Giveforward had moved away from her original grounds after the darkness had fluctuated. While it did not bother her to remain in darkness for awhile, it did eventually start to wear on her. She'd reluctantly taken flight to seek out more light and with it she'd flown into the familiar feeling of a kin who desired a blessing.

With a trill, she dove down and began to sing in hopes of attracting the kin towards her. Perhaps she should consider a faster form, she thought. Songbirds and rabbits were only so fast when responding kin that were expecting or planned to be expecting, rare as that was. That was something she'd have to consider later.

Song announcing her she flew down into the swamp and perched on the empty branch of a shrub, head turning to seek out which direction the kin the was.

Never was a dragon that had a fascinations with all things flying-- especially birds. The creature had learned that harassing them was great fun, and when one took the opportunity to get too close, the thing liked to strike out, flying around his quarry and taking time to snap at the feathers.

As such, it was strange to see him not launch into the air when one approached, as was happening now. Instead, the dragon chattered angrily at it, watching with wary eyes.

"It's no harm to you, silly thing," When reassured idly. "Did one of them fight back recently? Or are you suddenly a coward now?" She smiled despite herself as the foul-tempered creature lunged at her in a feint. "You'll have to try harder than that, beast."

The songbird chittered at the dragon, hopping up and down on the branch, before launching into the air and vanishing.

Silence, emptiness loomed and stretched.

And then Giveforward stepped out of the nearby brush, "Apologies, I misjudged the distance," she laughed. She turned her eyes toward the dragon, sticking her nose close to it and smiling, "Such a wise little one, aren't you?" A coo of sincerity punctuated the remark and then she pulled back, turned and looked at the doe.

"Now, then, it's your turn," she grinned. "How may I help?"
