Ash looked at her salamander, the dummy, and the salamander again.

She settled on "they probably wouldn't like it if she destroyed the dummy." Sigh. Since when did she care about that?

Well, the chilly darkness left her unsettled even with the salamander.

Ash was agile but not especially powerful. Still, she was able to rake the dummy's head with her hooves with a satisfying clatter.

A leap to the side and a back kick and the dummy's head fell right off! That was a little satisfying. She surreptitiously encouraged the salamander to char one stick-ear a little.
