Soul Fire was uncertain of many things in this life.... Being a father was definitely one of them. He honestly had no idea if he'd stick around or not because he really didn't see himself as the fatherly type but who knows.

What was he even doing out here? Looking around with much uncertainty in his eyes the blue and red buck was at a crossroad. Stay or run? He wouldn't abandon the doe, but he wasn't even sure his exact feelings for the situation as it was....

Sighing he kicked a pebble. "What am I to do....." he asked himself more than anyone that may be around him.

Guardian couldn't say she'd really ever come across a reluctant parent. Uncertain sure, scattered and borderline chaotic? Oh yes...Bay Sleep and Sandworm came to mind with that one. So for her to hear that while she was inhabiting the iguana had her blinking at Soul Fire a few times rather slowly the tail of it flicking a little. Meanwhile a ghostly figure of a Mare came into view stopping nearby a curious tilt to her head.

As he watched the pebble bounce away his eyes were averted to a pale iguana. Cocking his head he peered at the creature and then chuckled. "Well, I'm not sure you can help me little one, but..." Was he about to talk to an Iguana, he sure was.

"I guess I never gave parenting much thought.... I never thought I would ever be one, but It seems to me that someone I barely know is now going to have my children and I'm just...."

Scratching at the ground he scooted another pebble with his hoof. "I don't know if I'm father material..."

The iguana blinked at him a few times watching, listening. Though it was hard to tell if it grasped what was being said, or if it even cared. But it scrabbled a little closer to him...before vanishing entirely a tall Mare standing there instead a soft chuckle coming from her. "You might not be father material but the fact you're worrying about it tells me you just might be. You're going about it the right way anyhow I'd like to think."

Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to appear out of no where but...well too late to go back now. Oops.
