Murkcrow had done enough fighting to know he Did Not Like fighting, so instead he got into the ring with the dummy.
He squinted at it in the darkness and lined up to kick it.

He managed a decent blow with a satisfying crunch, but the dummy remained standing.

He kicked again, this time aiming for a wooden shoulder. If he wasn't careful, he might get splinters, he thought ruefully as he took aim. It was hard to be careful in the dark.

The final kick connected and sent the dummy tumbling over, but he also overbalanced and fell over with it. Splinters, Murkcrow sighed as he extricated himself and righted the dummy.
