There were plans, Consume was with her, her son was there somewhere, watching, maybe helping. They couldn't leave the world dark, so they had to do everything in their power to bring it back. Whether or not gathering the motes would help...Merry didn't known, but it was the best plan they had.

She sized up the dummy, and she lowered her head to charge at it, but it was dark, and she only managed to clip a part of it. Making it rattle, but it didn't fall over.

With a determined bucksnort the doe rounded, moving back and away from the thing so she could line up again. Hoof pawing at the thick grass, she dipped her head and charged again, rush straight for the dummy.

This time she connected solidly, and the dummy toppled, wood flying all over. Merry, dug her hooves into the ground to stop, exclaiming an excited whoop.
