It was late, and Darling Mine was tired. However, he was also determined. Very determined! To prove his worth again, no matter how .... surprisingly dank and smelly that last glade was.

"Last time I found... was found... by one so blessed to have blessed me - it was here... I think..." He had said that at least three times, squinting at trees that were starting to all look alike.

Refusing to give up, he sighed and took another overgrown path. "This will be it, I will not fail!"

Thinking to himself: No matter how tangled and stick and leaf filled my poor tail gets!

Guardian of Life felt a very...intersting pull and she followed it curiously. Excitement, nervousness this was all things she was used to encountering. But the tired determination was a new one.It took her a moment to make sure she had the right kin, before she made herself known with a light clearing of her throat. No sense in startling him after all.

Darling blinked at a sudden sound and peered over his shoulder.

And looked up, then up some more.

"Oh." he blinked for a few seconds, then tried to recover.

"I ... uh... was hoping to... uuuhh..." he trailed off into mumbles as he realized how filthy he was, and tried to use a nearby branch to look a little more presentable.

"I am sorry if I... bothered you? I was hoping I could ... uh.... yes! That WE could! Yes!" he them beamed, triumphantly tired at Guardian!

She realized she had startled the buck and gave an apologetic smile. Though maybe he was more embarrassed she wondered a little as she watched him try and use a branch to clean up a little.

"Please don't worry, you're not a bother to me. I'm here to help you after all." a tip of her head. "Why don't you take a moment to take a deep breath and relax,gather your thoughts then tell me what it is you're hoping. I'm Guardian of Life, but please just call me Guardian." she gave a warm smile as she looked at him patiently waiting.
