Though wandering through the swamp was normal for the buck, having all of his animal friends following him was very much not. For some reason all four of them had decided to come along this time, which while not more trouble then he expected (he expected quite a lot), made going anywhere in particular much more difficult. Sunrise, though thankfully no longer screaming, was chirping up a storm from her spot on his horns to a happy Evergreen Berry who was chittering right back from beneath the bird as she rested, curled up on his head. Snowfall was currently riding on Moon Phase's head as the caiman happily trotted along beside Shadowed Moon, something which seemed... like a surprisingly bad idea all things considered, but so far everyone seemed happy to play along so though he was keeping a close eye out he let them be. For one thing, trying to dislodge either Sunrise or Evergreen Berry from his head would likely result in actual words being screeched in his ears by the bird, and equally angry chittering screeches from the mongoose, so no reason to deal with that if he didn't need too. As for the Moon Phase and Snowfall... well the caiman generally only ate fish, and they'd never had an issue with him snapping at any of the smaller, bite sized familiars before (baring some hungry stares at Sunset and a slow creep toward Star-Soaked Seas tail, both of which had been dealt with via a hasty retreat, as the caiman was always the slow but steady type) so Snowfall was probably fine...? As much as he wanted to move them away from each other, he couldn't be sure Snowfall wouldn't hop right back up, as apparently many of the herd's small fuzzy companions liked to ride on Moon Phases' head and back, lounging in a sun and warming themselves on his dark scales. While it still freaked him out, there was only so much he could do about it since it wasn't like he was with them all the time. Nurture's Life had assured him that as long as Moon Phase was given a varied and healthy diet meeting his needs, and wasn't hungry there should be no worry, but that didn't stop his concern. He trusted the buck, but it was hard to break his worrying habit. Especially over something like this. It was good practice, at least.
Either way, it meant a much more stressful walk then normal, despite how much more relaxed todays walk really was. Well, either way, it was nice to get away from everything and just wander for a while.
