With a long stretch and nose wiggle Bunny Rabbit blurrily opened her eyes. She stared into space for a few minutes before moving closer to the warm body next to her. As much as her life-mate looooved to tease her... in an excessive way but there was something about him that drawn him to her. He could be sweet in his own way, you just had to look outside the norm. "Morning." Panther grunted with a cheeky smile and nuzzled into her long soft ears. "You look cozy."
"I am comfy, you're like my own personal heat-warmer!" Bunny smiled during the nuzzle enjoying this moment. Panther tended to mostly keep these types of moments only when they were together alone. "What should we do today?" Bunny moved around thumping her hooves on the ground trying to get in a position to wake up more.
"I suppose we could go hunting?" He flashed a fanged smirk. "You're really good at that."
Bunny puffed her cheeks up with a frown. "No, you know I hate hunting. Give me a carrot or leaves any day you tease! AWKK!" Breath left her chest has she suddenly found herself turned and pounced on playfully. Panther let out a growl and her eyes widened in shock. M-maybe not so playfully? It was tense for a moment before he broke out in to a smirk and a laugh.
Looking at her expression made him think of her as a foal and how adorable she would have been which in turn lead him to think about their possible foals... "You make it so easy to tease, it's cute. " With a kiss he got up and shook off the last effects of sleep. "Alright well we can go hunting for your carrots or leaves and then I'll get something for myself."
Sometime later after their morning meal, their plan was to hang out with some friends or relax by the water... it was hot outside. " How about we swim first?" Decision made Bunny nodded in agreement that did sound like fun even if she just laid down by the water... the breeze was better by the water than this oppressive heat.
"Sure, you can swim and I'll rest by the water!" Thumping her hooves with excitement they moved together as one in the right direction. Once there, Bunny settled down and nestled herself by the tree... the shade was wonderful as was the cool breeze coming off the water. Soon she drifted off.
A faint snore distracted Panther and he turned to his lifemate. A soft snort escaping as he listened to the faint snores of his mate, how could Bunny sleep so much? Though it had been a hard few days, maybe it was catching up with her. "Hmmm." An evil little idea popped into his head. Should he? Or shouldn't he? Hmmm. Yeah.
Twisting his tail, Panther lowered down with his front and wiggled his butt in the air. "Wakey wakey~" With those words whispered before he pounced with a fake roar. The reaction he got was well worth the silent treatment in future... besides she wouldn't stay angry for too long.. she never did.
Bunny Rabbit jerked up and hopped away. Panting to catch her breath she looked around frantically before taking in Panther collapsed on the ground laughing. "Y-you JERK!" What had she been thinking, having offspring with this foal-like buck~! UGH! She would stomp her foot again but she took a breath instead." I hope you don't teacher our future foals this type of behavior or I swear you'll be sleeping in another area for a long time!"
This type of conversation still jolted him now and then... babies. Definitely something to think about and be serious about. Little baby Bunny and him versions running around... sorry Matope! Well... mini-him's definitely watch out for! " I promise, I'll behave myself when time comes." Strategically leaving out the present... When he looked at his mate he noted that she noted that too. He grinned charmingly and distracted her.
This had been a fine day and one that had unknowingly started the first steps towards parenthood.
