She awoke one day with a familiar roiling in her stomach, and at that point, she wondered.
Then, after more days passed, she felt a pressure in her abdomen. And that is about when she decided that she was in fact pregnant.
It wasn't until it became a bit...difficult...to move around that she considered seeking a blessing.
She had seen legendary kin, and knew they existed. And it seemed fate steered her towards asking one for assistance.
She could have sent Roam out. He was in much better shape than herself. He wasn't a zikwa carrying a totoma's children.
But. It was an experience, and hers alone between the two of them.
So now, with what grace she could muster, she searched. Not far from where she and Roam had made a den, no. She knew her limits. But she pushed herself a little bit, even so, past the safety and closer to the waters of the greater swamp.
