[B] Straight to the Point (My Tracks x Guardian of Life)

Hopefully the information was accurate and still up to date, otherwise her journey might take longer than she wanted.

"Alright, if what was said still applies, I should be able to cross paths with a Stag or Mare somewhere here." My Tracks said to herself as she glanced around the swamp. She wasn't looking for any specific Stag or Mare as she would be fine with whoever was willing. The doe only hoped that the collection of dried flowers, ferns, and fur would be an acceptable offering. If not, she was willing to go hunt and gather for something else.

Guardian of Life had been on one of her walks outside of Mothborn lands when she felt it. There was a kin not far that was looking for one like her and so she headed that way without much thought. It always warmed her to bless those expecting, or hoping to in any case. She noticed a confused looking doe after some time, and headed towards the doe with the bright hair. "Hello!" she called out as she approached, not wanting to startle her too much.

Had the doe been younger and not actively searching, My Tracks might have let out a startled yelp at the voice. Instead, she rounded towards the source, her ears raised and a pleased smile forming on her face. She just proved the verity of the information she'd gathered by having found a Legendary!

"Ah! Hello!" She beamed, taking a knee while she continued with a very obviously prepared spiel, "Greetings to one granted wisdom by the MotherFather." The cadence of her words was one of respect while refraining from being overly cloying.

The doe going to her knees surprised Guardian a bit, no one else had ever done that before and it left her momentarily stunned. "Oh, please stand! No need to be formal, really." none what so ever. The pale Mare smiled at the bright doe as she spoke to her. "I'm Guardian of Life, how might I be able to help you?" sure she'd felt her need, but still she wasn't about to assume things. Maybe the blessing was for the doe herself, or another one entirely. So she waited patiently.

At the Mare's words, My Tracks stopped herself from completely kneeling though there was a noticeable wobble in her joints. Once she regained her balance, the doe couldn't help but thank whatever fortunate stars had guided her to Guardian of Life. A Mare who seemed to go straight to the heart of the matter? This was perfect!

My Tracks straightened up as she answered "My name is My Tracks and I would be extremely grateful if you could grant me a blessing. I am to have a clutch with a rather nervous buck, almost paranoid really, and having a blessing would not only be good for the children but would give him peace of mind."

A beat.

"I also offer you a handful of my favorite scent, flavor, and texture." She added, craning her neck to reach for the netting hanging by her haunch.

As My Tracks wobbled, Guardian stepped forward just in case the wobbling got any worse. Seeing her finally straighten back up however made her breathe out a soft sigh of relief. The last thing she wanted was the doe to get injured after all.

"A pleasure to meet you My Tracks." she listened to her words, a nod of her head given in understanding. "Perfectly understandable. Is there anything in particular you're hoping for in the blessing? I know many have a desire or two, and others just leave it up to chance what the blessing is." she could work with either, of course.

Seeing her reaching for the netting she didn't argue. It wouldn't be the first a kin had given her a gift for her help, and turning it down had led to some awkward situations, so she'd learned to just accept what was being offered. Besides it always all found a use back home, or while she continued her travels.

My Tracks laid out the dried flowers, edible ferns, and the chunk of fur on a large leaf for easy transport. She'd thought up all she would need just for this interaction and she was glad the Mare was so accepting of everything. Excellent, things were going according to plan, even the part where she was asked if she had anything she wanted in particular for the blessing itself.

"Yes indeed I have something in mind. I would like to request for health and wisdom for my children." While she would have loved for some sort of guarantee, My Tracks had lived long enough to know there was no such thing as a guarantee. One's future and path was something everyone had to find and forge on their own. She could only ask for a leg up at most, the rest would be up to her children themselves.

Guardian looked at the offerings and gave a warm smile. "Those look lovely, thank you for them." she would find a use for everything she was given, she always did even if it took a little time to do so. Not like she needed to rush after all, especially with the dried flowers and the fur. The ferns? Those would be a nice snack later she was certain.

The does request would be an easy one to fulfill, and stepping closer Guardian lightly touched her forehead to the others and with quiet words began to talk. "May the MotherFather bless your children with health and wisdom, and less nervousness than their father possesses." she lifted her head once she was finished speaking. "May you have a safe journey back to your home My Tracks."

Guardian gathered the items given to her up in the leaf and stepped away holding it between her teeth for the time being, the mare suddenly vanishing from sight as she got amongst some bushes, and if Tracks looked carefully she would see the tail of a pale marine iguana making it's way low to the ground, the leaf packet in its mouth.
