[PRP] Clean up on aisle four, there going to be a murder[Corrosive &Maddingcrow]

ImageCorrosive was in the mood to obtain something of her dreams, and was not going to be detained. She had not met them personality, but she knew of him. Most kin knew of Bird Bird Fish and really, that was such a mouthful and a terrible one. One of them had a crow though. She needed a crow. To be her best self and to teach it to scare away pests from her gardens. If it was big enough to eat them so much the better.

She walked calmly into Bird Bird Fish's tribe, calmly on the search for the one know as Madding Crow. Name was sort of on the nose there, hopefully he was good enough to banter with. Some people were just so terribly boring. Also, crows, as many as she could get so much the better.

[imgright]http://matope.pixel-blueberry.com/image ... uncert.png[/imgright]The mentioned Madding Crow was currently far too focused on what was in front of him to pay attention to anyone strolling through their territory, balancing a newfangled construction of fractured eggshell pieces stuck together with tree sap on a wide log's upward branch. He currently had a piece of reptilian shed skin in his mouth, delicately leaning forward to wedge it in between the cracks, his dark eyes narrowed upon his target. It was a shame he did not have thumbs at this very moment, but some things were just too delicate to leave to a chittering rodent.

If he had one. He didn't trust them. They had thumbs.

@Maxx

Corrosive muffled her steps, focusing in on the buck as she carefully approached to the side. She walked around the log, eyeing the mix of eggshell, sap, and the tightly held shed skin before focusing her sharp red gaze on Madding Crow. Well, well, she could wait for a moment longer. At the very least till he did what ever he was planning with the skin. She was now curious about what he could possibly be attempting.

And well, watching people fail was always a bit of a delight.

He had tested sliding it into a particular crack for a nice flare, then pulled back and placed it upon the log with some exasperation. Her greens were too bright to miss, even stood by the side.

"We won't be doing a fashion walk for a few moons yet," his eyes flickered up, "so don't dally about.

"You're blocking my sun."

"Who said I was here to bother with a simple fashion walk?" She questioned, taking his acknowledgement as an invitation to come closer. "Let alone why you would even need the sun." She rolled her eyes, and stopped in such a way she truly blocked the light from falling on his creation. "If it is only good in the bright sun, then it misses it mark."

"But that not why I am here. Your crow. Where did you get it?"

"I'm using the light. From the sun. To put this delicate handi??work together." He pronounced, as if she were an idiot, and rolled his eyes right back because he was not above being petty, and he had the feeling that his sap was drying up by the second.

In that moment his crow flew by and violently ejected excrement midflight.

"Oh, Bad," he blew upon the skinning sap to check its viscosity, "from an egg, of course, much like any other bird."

He let himself smirk for that one.

Corrosive laughed and moved, dodging the excrement and getting out of his light. "I think I want to see you attempt to pick it up without breaking it." She grinned, watching the crow fly.

"Well, of course. Eggs though are so very fragile, I find it hard that you did not crush and eat it." She hummed thoughtful. "What are you using to keep it together? Pine sap?" She smirked slightly switching her tail. "I wonder what would happen to your project if I accidently hit that log you have it resting on trying to dodge bird shit."

"It's hardly the first broken egg, it'll hardly be the last," he said lightly with a bite.

He shrugged, shoulders’ feathers shifting, a hotness in the edge of his sharp gaze on the piece.

"I wonder what would happen to your attempt at trying to get a crow if you accidentally shit on the kin who had crows to give."

"Well, that would be unfortunate," She said, looking him over. "But it seemed to finally have gotten your attention. Perhaps I been a bit hasty...." Corrosive drawled, considering. "What about a trade, the beach ends up littered with interesting debris and we are down there in the summer. You tell me how to obtain a crow, and I'll return to you a crow's body worth of shells, pebbles, and dried bits and bobs."

It would be a bit of a gamble, one giant conch shell or multiple smaller ones.

"Oh, so you had a plan,” Madding Crow stated wryly, "I wasn’t sure there was one beyond annoying someone you want a favour from.”

He leaned back and gestured to the piece with a sweep of his head.

"Crow eggs, these were,” he said with a touch of malicious glee, "Bad seems to have found a lady crow somewhere.

"If you find me some coherent combination of valuable things from the sea to make into a good accessory, I’ll find you a hatchling.

"I won’t be going to the seaside,” it would truly mess with his hair, but he wouldn’t say it, "so I’d like a more thoughtful themed assortment instead of just bits and bobs.

"Not saying I’d use them as intended, but that would be enough for a crow past their nubby featherless stage.

"How about it, then?"

@Shaddaling you can just fast-forward to coming back with the item(s)!

"I always have a plan, it matters if I can obtain the object without falling back onto it," Corrosive replied, mild. "Too bad for her, but probably a good meal for someone else."

"I'm sure, I can figure out something that will... suit your tastes." She replied, amused. "Till the Summer then." She wouldn't want him to come anyways. She was sure he would be totally lame.

--------
Corrosive returned late summer, bringing the smell of sea, fish, and slightly rot with her. Various seaweed had been dried and used to wrap the package dangling in her mouth. She walked into Bird Bird Fish's territory seeking out Maddening Crow.

He was rooting around in a pile of material upon her arrival, critically nosing some larger feathers around.  This time he did look up first, thanks to the distinctive scent of searot coming along the breeze.

Yes, he thought rather witheringly, it was better not to have gone.

"A delivery," he said, standing in place, but loud enough to travel.

Corrosive set the package down, spitting slightly to the side. "Yes." She set the toe of her hoof in the wrap, tugging the seaweed away. "It is edible though it might be off." She set it into a pile and casually flipped the top giant clam shell to the side. It was whole and a good 9 inches. "It took awhile to find one that was whole."

Inside the bottom half was a selection of shells, polished pebbles, a shark tooth, two skeletons from sand dollars, a skeleton of a sea urchin, odd and end sea urchin spines, and a selection of snail doors.

"I'm not wont to eating something off," he said halfheartedly, eyeing the seaweed - but perhaps if they'd left it out in the sun, it could be used for wearing.

With the rather more (or less) palatable spread of decorative items though, Madding Crow almost produced a less unpleasant smile.

"Look what you've done with some effort," he spread them out with a delicate tip of his hoof, examining the skeletons that rattled gently, "surprisingly delightful.

"I could almost forget that you came to my territory and threatened to destroy my property."

(But he wouldn't.)

"But yes, a hatchling, on my part."

He returned to the pile he was rummaging through earlier, and started to push them apart. At the end of a dramatic push, there it was...

...a baby crow seated comically on the ground.

"This one should be close to flying. In any case, it's the only one here, so let's hope it's not...off."

He nudged it off its hindquarters towards her.

( @Shaddaling Well you can't take that to certing, but you can take this uncert to certing! Just put Bad's uncert in the image field and yours will be saved anew.)

Corrosive chuckled softly, relaxed and grinned a bit sharply at the remark. So she had and she would have. It would not have made too much of a difference for her if she had destroyed it. There was others, and she had approached Madding first because she would not have cared.

She leaned down, carefully nudging the fledgling till its wings flared, surveying the plump little ball of feathers. "I'm sure it will do." She said, gently picking up the fledgling in her mouth. She gave a nod at Madding Crow and left him to his spoils.

@Maxx

(Thank you for the rp! And if he wants more sea delicacies he can approach most of my kin. )
