Above Heartache felt the twinges again. After many children she knew this time why she was getting a bit bigger in the belly. She looked for the buck, Light in the Ocean, only to see that he was off. "Okay my littles, let us see who we may find to bless you."

Walking down the trail from what she considered a good den, the acha doe was not alone. She rarely traveled alone, thanks to her small companions. Glancing at them, "Which way do you think? Towards the water, the hills or the valley?" Of course the three each went a different direction. "Bug Chaser wins this time." And she followed the fennec.

Sleeping Terror normally rather liked it- the fresh blooms of the season were beautiful, after all. Unfortunately, things had become... rather strange with relation to her current 'swamp-blessed' predicament. Spring was also the season where little foals and lambs seemed to tumble out of thin air like no other. Hence, all that time she'd formerly had to herself to enjoy the springtime was now being spent getting tugged between blessing the little squirts and their parents.

It was easier to get away with when she wasn't in kin form. But there was one thing she did have to worry about- predators.

She had never been to the desert, and didn't quite know what a fennec was. But she did now know the little things were fierce, as this one had certainly zeroed in on her and was now doing its best to swat her out of the air. There was a small part of her brain that said "you're big enough you could probably just become a totoma again and eat this thing in one bite," and she was entertaining the thought for a moment.

The appearance of an acha following it, however, changed her tune a bit. It was probably a pet, then... And not a snack.

Dipping through the air to avoid the little beast's claws, she landed on Above Heartache's horn to rest a moment.

She knew Bug Chaser was onto something, just from the way he ran off. As soon as she seen the moth, Above felt like there was something different about it. "Bug Chaser, NO!" Not that it had every worked before, but she had to try! With the new weight on her horn, the doe turned her eye as best she could to look. "I am so sorry for his lack of knowledge. You are one of the Legendary, correct? I would think he would know, for how long he has been with me and all the ones I have ran into." Well, she didn't exactly run into them, she went searching, just like this time. Above Heartache started to ramble, "I..Well the buck, Light in the Ocean, has been so sweet to me and we keep finding each other over the years. Almost like a moth to a fla..Umm. I feel like this group I am carrying, might actually bring both of us out of our shells to say more how we feel. That is another story though, I really just want these ones to come into the world healthy, strong, and..." Her voice dropped as she wasn't sure what else she wanted for them.

Taking care to flit far enough away from the acha and her pet as to not crush them, she reappeared in Totoma form with a sneeze (possibly on account of all the wool and petals she was shedding). "Healthy, strong, and feisty. Like your Bug Catcher," she replied. As much as the little beast was irreverent, she had to recognize its hunting ability on the list of pros versus cons.

"My only advice there is to be straightforward with him in general," Sleeping Terror continued. She, who hadn't had much romantic experience in her long life, was not exactly a bastion of experience- and so could only claim to know the totoma way of dealing with conflicts. Air your grievances, be bold in your honesty or dishonesty all the same. Nothing flighty like how other kin seemed to do it. ...Strange, coming from the mind of one who was also a moth. "You will get nowhere treading in circles, no matter how many times you spin."

As the Sleeping Terror moved away, Above Heartache stepped back as the moth became a totoma. "Oh my! I was not expecting a totoma as a moth." Dipping her head as she spoke out loud, the acha took in the blessing. "Feisty...Yes, I think that would be wonderful."

The fennec looked a bit proud as he heard his name, though he didn't know what it was about. "I will talk to him, next I see him." Above looked a little closer. "You have some lovely flowers on you." She knew some flowers, thanks to Light, but these were different. "Thank you for your wise advice. I will take it to heart, and work even on my ways."
