She's a fucking child and she's going to have... Eyes narrow at the stupid, ugly, pathetic specimen that has so contented the beast. She imagines his head on a spike and spits in the dirt. If he fucking thinks he's going to raise these bastards, she'll start tracking down all his other spores.

Maleficent sees them as new minions to raise and tame and use. She isn't wrong but if she thinks it'll be that easy, then she's far dumber than even the dragon. She doesn't have enough goddamn mushrooms for this. And so, with a sneer towards the stupid trio of idiots, she storms and stomps off into the woods to find anything that'll help her cope. It better be spongy and earthy and, hopefully, she finds a stop teeming with them to rival her own weight.

The longer she hunts for mushrooms, the more the anger mingles with devastation. They were a trio. Crone, mother, maiden. And then the dragon found that wretch. She scowls. Bucks aren't worth anything, especially the trouble they cause. She hates them and, right now, everyone else, too. She cannot deal with this sober. Maybe the whelps will be grown and gone when she returns from her journey to the heavens and respite to hell.
