Well this was quite the predicament Flaw had managed to get herself into. How on earth had that bird managed to get so damn close to her? Well...he was quite the handsome thing, charming...

It really wasn't that much of a mystery.

Still, the petite doe grumbled to herself as she walked sullenly through the swamp. Scaled tail sweeping slowly in her wake as she wandered aimlessly through the swamp.  She'd just wanted some air, to cool down. Now she stayed away because she felt silly over her reaction to the news.

A mother.  Me. Mist plumed up from her nose as she snorted softly. The autumn air cool around her.

First came the pink spectral and quick on its heels was a creepy walking skeleton in shades of purple and blue. Its tongues was sticking out of its smiling maw and with its longer legs, each gallop was easy and exacting as it would come a hairsbreadth away from catching the owlcat and just narrowly missing its target as the owlcat would inevitably dash away and the distance would grow once more. This game continued until both owlcat and muskwolf lost their footing on some slippery, crunchy leaves hiding sinking hand, and went barreling heads forward into a pastel kimeti doe.

Groans and yowls could be heard from the furry twosome.

She was preoccupied enough that she didn't notice the racing spectrals or the buck that was chasing them.  Or so very caught up in herself that she just didn't care.  Hard to tell which, exactly, but the result was the same, in that the collision took her completely by surprise.  Flawless let out an undignified, startled yelp as she was knocked off her feet, and the next thing she knew she was in a tangle of limbs and tails with a pair of spectrals.

"What on earth..." It was baffled, at first, and then annoyance started to leak into her words.  "Excuse me.  I'm pacing here."
