[BLESS] Third Charm (Breach x Bone Voyage)

She could do this, Breach thought to herself, as she slithered across the pond surface towards the colorful skeletal doe. The first blessing had been a disaster, for her and for the buck she'd found. She was determined that it would not happen again and she could ensure that by not even appearing as a mare to this one. She could bless her without her even knowing she was there or, at least, who she was if she managed to fuck it all up. There really needed to be a guide to this new role.

Bone Voyage, for her part, was oblivious. She'd been through pregnancy two times before. The growing was a pain, the excess eating was all right, but children themselves were really not that interesting. They slept, they cried, they were mostly useless for awhile. At they were eggs though. That live birth that kimeti and zikwa and totoma experienced was not pleasant sounding and she was having second thoughts on having danced with a kimeti buck. She was going to have to go through that hellish experience, why couldn't bucks give birth?

The snake made its way up to the water's edge and stilled. She would start small. Healthy children, strong children, who didn't want those qualities ensured? The air tasted sweet and she considered for a moment what she had wanted for her children. She coiled loosely, May you children make friends and be born with little pain, may they be strong and healthy, and, most of all, may they be confident in who they are.

Oh that was much better than her first attempt. She felt herself preen a bit. And then talons gripped her and she was flying, quite against her will.

The doe startled as a loud shriek ripped through the air. A crash sounded nearby and she didn't even ask the Legendary why it was carrying an eagle like a bad dog. She had other things to worry about after all.
