[PRP] sleep-talking awake. (sleeping terror & in all seasons)

Though many of the flowers were wilting now under their thick coat of unseasonable snow, her moths had been intelligent enough to shelter themselves in the thickest part of the undergrowth. A great many had heard her plodding approach, and immediately taken the opportunity to rest against her wool and plates, folded up and enjoying her body heat in the cold. She felt somewhat bad for the poor things- they were meant for the temperate swamp, so the snow must not have been good for them.

Sleeping Terror spent a long, long time sitting with them, legs folded up underneath her body. She addressed each moth in turn as it crawled closest to her face, with a quiet "I missed you too, but you wouldn't have been happy there."

She recounted her time in the mountain slowly and in great detail as she warmed them up, in the way a mother would to her foal. About the journey, the bears, the great eagle... Even of the nightmare she'd seen at the end of the battle. Almost in pity as it sensed her trepidation, Autumn Sky had folded its wings over her face as she did, as if to cover her eyes from the truth. Autumn was a sweet moth, but perhaps just as naive as she was.

This was all well and good until she was awoken with a jolt from her trancelike-state by a rustling close by. Something was nearby. Her mind still on her nightmare, she rose cautiously to her hooves to investigate- the moths scattering in every direction as she did.

Damn it, she knew she shouldn't have left for too long- now she'd lost her reputation, and hence ability to not be constantly having to scare idiot babies out of her hair. She lowered her head to point the broadest part of her horns at In All Seasons. "Why are you here?"



[imgleft]https://matope.pixel-blueberry.com/imag ... uncert.png[/imgleft]But before In All Seasons can answer, another less-colorful but nearly identical Kiokote leaps straight over the Totoma's back from the other direction, making Sleeping Terror falter and stumble to her knees. "We're just checking things out!" Exclaimed the other twin.

(Oh motherfather, give her strength.)

[imgright]http://matope.pixel-blueberry.com/image ... uncert.png[/imgright]Sleeping Terror pulled herself upright enough she could back away slowly from the Neon Nightmare of a kiokote, trying her very hardest not to kill on sight. But rage just like the rage that had taken her over at the Obelisk was bubbling up into her hooves and at the tips of her horns. "They're. They're my... friends?" Friends was a word you could use to describe them, she supposed. A very stupid word, but a word nonetheless.

A vibrant colored one landed atop her back-plates, its wings quivering slightly as it could sense the negative emotion in its guardian. (This was not any supernatural ability. Sleeping Terror had serious Resting Bitch Face when she was anything but elated.)
