About: Tidal Terror is a big totoma with a big heart. She tends to speak her mind with a booming voice, but usually with others' best interests at heart. She is straight-forward almost to a fault; subtlety is too easy to miss or misunderstand.
Social awkwardness aside, she is rather acclimated to swamp living. She can tell different kin types by sight, and has a general grasp of their different cultures. Tidal Terror might be loud, but she isn't ignorant. When she can, she tries to assist others by bringing wisdom from her own upbringing; an outsider's perspective, if you will. For instance, she has plenty of advice on how to fight off predators (when in doubt: use your head). She is also tasked as part of her role at the Sand Bar, when not playing life guard on the shoreline, to help raise totoma lambs who otherwise would have no connections to their heritage.
The pervading mysticism among most kin is a bit beyond her, but she is willing to admit that she has been touched by odd dreams in her time. She has even met legendary kin once or twice! So she has no reason to doubt the lore and legends of her new home, but she does wonder what a totoma's place is supposed to be when they grow up so far removed from concepts like "The swamp will provide."
As such, Tidal Terror's many experiences have led her to mull over three important things: What of her own mostly-forsaken culture should she teach to new totoma generations, why has it taken so long for the Motherfather to show any interest in totoma, and how much control does she truly have over her life?
As a legendary, she would be more than happy to guide the lost or at least give them some sympathetic (if not loud) company. A generally blunt kin, she tends to find the point of problems and deal with them head-on versus skirting around them. So while her assistance can be a bit blunt-force, it is certainly a time-saver. More than anything, she is a proud totoma charged with other totoma in her time, so any child-rearing advice would come either from her time raising lambs or her awkward experience trying to navigate hatching kimeti sacs on her own. Better than no advice, though, right?
