Scara’s family is in town for the weekend, so instead of running a game, let’s look at some reptile families! You have from
now until
my mom leaves (Sunday afternoon) to get an extra ticket for the raffle!
Here’s what you have to do for a ticket:
Code: Select all
[imagewidth=500]PARENT[/imagewidth]
[imagewidth=500]BABY[/imagewidth]
From what you’ve learned about reptiles while googling these images, do you think this parent would eat this baby [i]under normal circumstances[/i]? [b]Yes/No/Some other answer/Go into as much detail as you want regarding why or why not; this can be a one word answer or a dissertation, I don’t care.

No way! Alligator moms are diligent, protective parents. They carry them in their mouths to safer places, will defend their nest from predators, and even help their lil' babbins hatch!

From what you’ve learned about reptiles while googling these images, do you think this parent would eat this baby
under normal circumstances? Probably not, because chameleons are insectivores!

Yes, that adult is an opportunistic omnivore and that baby would fit in its mouth. Leachies will eat other lizards! A babby is "another lizard."

Yes, some geckos eat their babies. I am not sure if that is with all gecko species but I read that for example Leopard geckos are carnivores and sometimes they even eat they babys.
