Zikwa Gender: male
Name Origin: The zikwa was born without a naming dream, a condition viewed by the other zikwa in the cave with suspicion and fear. Largely left to their own devices, they took to playing with their own shadow in the dim, shifting glows of the caves. And what started as silly games developed into elaborate shows as they learned how to contort their body and use props to create different shadow creatures and effects. Eventually, the zikwa made their way out of the cave and discovered the wider world. And kin who really enjoyed their shadow plays, who called them Shadow Artist.
