As they continued exploring the pier, they returned to the fishing booth. As Ember finished his attempt at fishing, Sun-Cursed gave his arm an encouraging squeeze, as well as snuck a quick peck on his cheek. "For my luck~" she giggled, a little surprised at her own bravery to be so openly affectionate. She didn't think it would actually lead to a good luck as she caught a fish with the same green dot!

She excitedly showed it to Ember before returning the plastic toy to its container. She linked her arm in his, leaning her head against him and murmured "Ever since I met you, my luck and my life has started getting better." She looked up at him, smiling from ear to ear. He made her feel so safe in body, mind, and heart, "Thank you for coming into my life."
