Mountain Flox: The Fierce Winter Familiar

Professor Harmony threw out four more bi-color orbs into the audience. They took off in different directions, a couple almost bounced off each other before finding their new owners in the audience. The crowd quieted in anticipation. The balls shook a couple times, people leaning closer to see what emerges.

After layers of fluff fall into place, there are two reactions. Those of who knew, and those who did not. The ones who did not awwed at the cuteness of these creatures! Extra fluffy bodies, big bright eyes, multiple tails, what was not to love?! But those who did know gritted their teeth in anticipation.

As soon as the flox blinked and began to look around, growls and snarls filled the air. Screaming started as the floxes started snapping at other people. Two of them emerged near enough each other to lock eyes and start fighting, tearing at the seats trying to get at each other.

"These.." the crowd was in light chaos as some were trying to hold back their flox, some were trying to get better looks, some were just trying to give the wild animals a little space.

Harmony whipped the screen with a level of violence not seen before. The sound was loud enough to cause every living thing to stop and turn their attention to the woman on the stage.

"Better. Ahem. These creatures, despite how they look, are a new variant of flox I call Mountain Flox. These flox live in the highest parts of the mountains all of the whole year, except when winter finally reaches us. They're hard to find and will most likely vanish along with the snow when the warmth comes back. As you can see they're a bit...lively creatures. But! Once they get used to you, you will find no better familiar! But uh, to be safe, you guys should go outside with them and not near each other..like at all."

OOC: Winter Flox are ONLY available during the winter (December 1 - Feb 28/29). They will be freely CCable ONLY till the end of February (Yes this means you can CC for one now!) They can pair with normal flox and have a chance to produce mountain flox even with a normal partner.

After waiting for people to depart with their new familars, Harmony tapped the screen gently.
