It had been simple to him. Get the mother and her children out from the the cave in. Others had been trying for ages, with no luck, they'd only made more rocks fall. He studied the rocks while they worked, and after the last ones fell away tired, and battered, he stepped up and he accomplished what the others had been unable to, and he freed the three from behind the rock slide, broken bits of stone littering the ground.

Bares Her Soul

It had started as a dare from one of her friends, to another doe. Go up to the popular buck in their tribe, and tell him you liked him. Her friend declined, being too shy to do so, despite how much she'd talked about how good looking he was.
Despite the dare not being directed at her, she made her way to the buck, whom she herself had feelings for, though had yet to tell anyone, and with a very matter of fact tone, said in a loud, clear voice that she liked him, and wanted to spend more time with him, and get to know him better, to which he said while flattered, and that he can appreciate a doe who Bares Her Soul so bravely in font of so many, he was only interested in other bucks. In the process baring his own soul, and breaking hers and her friends heart at the same time.
However, she earned the admiration and respect of everyone present for not being afraid to speak her mind, or her heart for that matter, despite the possibility of a poor outcome.
