Haunted by his naming dream and a subsequent near-drowning as a foal, Drowning is absolutely terrified of water (which makes living in a swamp rather difficult). He traveled to the ocean with his mother Little Island when he was young, and has nightmares of huge waves towering over him and taking him away. Often he feels like his fears and anxieties and mental tics are overtaking him, sweeping away his personality bit by bit.

(Maybe heading back to the Borderwalkers, where his mother stayed while she was pregnant with him? Wishing to venture to the desert where water is scarce? How can he get through his trauma?)

Known for his rather frivolous tendencies and for spending most of his time taking care of his own interests, Serves-None might not seem the best choice for the leader of a tribe. His particular brand of stubbornness and a sarcastic kind of charm, however, make him unexpectedly suited to the job. Serves-None's refusal to bow to the will of others and his egotistical assurance that he is superior have allowed him to hold on to his tribe...for now, at least. Without the support of his loyal and headstrong friend, Rallies-Forth, however, he might not prove so successful.
