Seedkeeper is... They spend most of their days harvesting seeds for their covenmates, drying and making sure they are safe to germinate again later. They prefer the seeds of foods commonly eaten by kin, but save herbs, flowers, weeds and even dangerous plants' seeds as well. They all have their place in the swamp, and should something terrible happen they hope to provide seeds to replace what's lost.

Echo's first memory... The blind totoma was a proud, boastful little lamb, headstrong and running into things without fear. He was thought to be foolishly reckless, until they noticed he was following the light patterns like a zikwa, seeking out the glowing patterns of his family. However, not wanting to be helpless in the harsh environment, he learned to bellow out the same songs his father did, using the vibrating echoes to help him navigate distances. When some foals got lost in the caves beneath the mountains, he volunteered to search for them. Deep in the caves, the young totoma was guided by the echoes of his songs. until he found them and was able to lead them back home. When he shared the story, he was given the name Echo-Reader.
