"Why not?" the kimeti asked himself as he meandered about. It was perfectly sound and he had seen others feeding the hoard. It was a good gesture. It was nice to share. Sunless Seas proceeded to drop some dried apricots off to the hoard.

And when the hoard bared its teeth back, Sunless Seas' smile twisted into a disappointed frown. What the heck!? He was given an apple though. Confused, the kimeti went back to the grove for a nap to process the bizarre exchange.

Into The Evening doesn't know why she's here or how she got roped into this, and the animals that Feed The Need is asking her to help him out with are extremely rowdy.

Not knowing what to do, she starts humming a calming tune, at first raspy from her recent slumber, but then smooth and dulcet as she initially intends. The badger and the other creature stop and listen to her.

Great, she thinks to herself, there's only so much to this song and she doesn't know what to do next!

Roam recognized the yelling almost immediately as he entered the Winter Market. Life had become much busier since last year, but he knew he had to check in on Feed's nonsense to see how the kiokote was getting on. It seemed to be business as usual, based on what he was hearing as he walked down the Winter Market thoroughfare. Eventually, he found the buck and his booth, little terrors present and accounted for.

The desperate look on Feed's face was enough to motivate the large totoma. He shuffled to the back of the booth and started bellowing at the two familiars. They seemed startled and glared at him as he approached and waved his long horns around. The display seemed to work, and he noticed Feed quickly shuffling food around while his two little monsters were distracted. Once the kiokote settled again, he accepted a fresh apple before making his way back into the crowd.

Capable grabbed a huge fruit she didn’t recognise in her jaw, carrying it laboriously by the stalk, having to hold her head back so far so she didn’t trip on it…

7. Feeds pets take off suddenly. Time to grab food to hand out!

Capable stared after the familiars, wondering if she should follow them. She realised she was in no position to give chase and instead adjusted her grip on the fruit and went on to hand it out.
