A Dusk Dragon has appeared!
A dusty purple dragon whizzed around Waters Grace's head, chirping happily at her. "I saw one like you just a few moments ago! Unfortunately, I don't have anything for you, my friend. You are very cute though."

A Repeat Crab has appeared!
While Waters Grace watched the Dusk Dragon fly off, she felt something scuttle over her hoof. Looking down, there was a small crab making it's way towards the nearby lake. Making sure not to step on the little creature, she continued on her way.

A Crystal Wasp has appeared!
Waters Grace felt her heart start racing at the sound of buzzing. She'd heard horror stories of the "Winter Market Stump" and instantly thought of the bees she'd heard about coming from it. Without even looking back, she quickly trotted away.

A Quick Spider has appeared!
Finding herself back around the wooded part of the area, she looked around to see if perhaps the little dragons had met up. Up in the tree, she saw a blue and yellow spider hanging upside down from one of the branches. Making sure to duck and not disturb it's web, she continued on.

A Friend Crab has appeared!
Harmony stopped herself from accidently stepping on the little friend. Not what she was looking for, but adorable none the less.

37+. You encounter the familiar of your choice!
Eventually, Arbitrary's sniffing got them somewhere, though somewhere was... a bit unusual.
They heard the rustling of insect wings, and some rather displeased clicking as they approached. It was... Something? Seemed a bit too big to be one of the beetles, and not quite buzzy enough to be the wasp. By process of elimination, that probably meant it was the
mantis. Man, being blind wasn't too helpful sometimes.
Since they didn't exactly have bugs to offer, they instead settled down right where they were, not moving and not making a sound. They hoped a patient approach would mean the bug would get curious and realize they weren't a threat, then maybe they could... take it somewhere that prey bugs were?

He wasn't sure who he'd meet, but he loved the idea of learning more about something he had never seen.

4: The familiar is uncertain, and approaches slightly.
Well, it was... kinda working? Maybe because they still had their head sticking up they still looked threatening. They lowered that, too, resting their chin on the soft ground.

Oh! What a darling little Fennec Fox! Such curious little creatures, darling too. Born of the desert, these little guys followed the Acha to the Swamp. He wondered if they liked it here, as it was surely cooler. He already had a fennec, of course, but he was curious to see if he could get closer.

He took a step closer and watched as the darkly colored fox lowered itself to the ground.
"Aw, don't worry, little one. I won't hurt you."

The Fennec narrows its eyes, its tail twitching. One wrong move and it would bolt, Content knew this much. Still, with a soft cooing voice, he spoke and stepped forward once more.
"Hush now, all is well."
