He is very interested in the sightings of spectral creatures around the swamp. He likes to think of himself as fearless, but gets unnerved by things more easily than he'd admit.

PERSONALITY Dark, dour, and hard as stone, but with a strong, burning will on the inside. Not easily deterred from anything he seeks out to do, and doesn't speak much -- Coal just gets set on a course and rarely deters from it until it's finished. This naturally attracts a certain type of lady, though Coal generally [with exceptions, of course] prefers the men.
