Apparently the dragon had caught the attention of a nearby wolf as well. It rushed up to the edge of the water and began barking at the chirping creature.

Probably aggravated from all the commotion, a bright blue badger rumbled out of the tall grass, growling and hissing. "I'm sorry that they have disturbed you, friend."

As Happy Little Tree made his way from the more crowded area of the lake's edge, he saw a crab pop up from its tunnel very briefly before it scuttled back down below. "I can't say that I blame you. It's quite the bustle up here."

Clutching some small rocks, Happy Little Tree noticed another crab scuttle back into it's tunnel. "I wonder what it plans on doing with those," he remarked.

From under a large piece of driftwood, a large spider appeared. "I'm sure that you can create quite the web," Happy Little Tree said, hoping not to scare off the creature.

Hearing the familiar barking and panting, Happy Little Tree continued on for a bit longer and saw the shuppy playing with a piece of thin driftwood. "Hello, little friend."

As the shuppy scampered off, Happy Little Tree rolled his eyes a bit. Obviously this creature wanted to play chase, but that was not a game he was interested in at the moment.

A familiar fox darted out of the grass as he continued on. Happy Little Tree figured that it had been startled by the fleeing shuppy.

Seeing a small crab stuck on it's back in the sand, Happy Little Tree quickly made his way over and nudged it upright with his nose. "Be careful, little one," he said gently, watching the creature a little longer to make sure that it didn't get upturned again.
