When they tried to teach her how to play hide and seek, it didn't really take. Every round she played, she lost! Her hiding places were abysmal! She'd stand behind the thinnest coverings of vines, and her bright colored plates or her dark colored fur would always give her way. One of the more foolish foals laughed at her, and asked if she even knew how to hide.
With a ferocious stomp of her tiny hoof, she cried, "I won't hide! Hiding is for cowards!"
It began as a joke among her playmates, who were eager for something to call her, but the name seemed to be an appropriate one. As she grew, she would never shirk a duty, and never try to redirect blame when she was guilty. No matter what was coming her way, for better or worse, she would never hide from it.
