32. W-what is this? It doesn't look like a fish or anything else you've ever seen before... You don’t think Sea will like this.
Sea Sighed was chasing the large school of fish around a large rock when he saw it. The glowing yellow eyes. It was so close to him. Somehow, in his terror, the buck managed to screech to a halt in the middle of the water, the school of fish long gone. He blinked a few times, something inside of him hoping it was a hallucination. Each blink, though, brought It closer. When it was close enough for him to make out the massive maw, the spell freezing him in place was broken.
The yells of terror were probably heard quite clearly to those on the surface. Sea Sighed dashed for the edge of the water faster than he'd probably ever done in his life. No polite nod to Sea of Tears, no leaving casually, no fish to be caught. The buck galloped off. His luck had run out.
