Hooves sliding side to side; stepping over little mounds where they were buried
She twirls and spins around for those who were standing there, watching her
The sun shines brightly on her skin - her grey, dull colour forgotten for a moment
Gracefully, she danced the dance of life
The scene shifts; she transforms herself into a fragile and weak doe
Falling to her knees, twisting her body from left to right as she whimpers
She rolls over, covering herself in dirt, dried twigs, and shrivelled leaves
Slowly she comes to a halt and laid flat on the ground between the mounds
Unattractively, she'd danced the dance of death
