Still, even if he'd been mad for all of a moment, it wouldn't have lasted, Song knew far too well that being mad at his companion was moot. He just couldn't stay mad, no matter that he might have wanted to. What good would it have done him, anyway? Clearly, as was, the dog meant them no harm that he could tell and it seemed to even already have something of a soft spot for its saviour, even if that saviour was the one that had distracted it more than the one that had gotten it free. That was perfectly fine by him.
"It seems all right, yes, just its tail that was caught and I think it might have been more the fur than the tail itself." It was hard to tell, that. But he still was glad that the dog was free. He didn't like the idea of anyone, or anything if it could be helped, being in pain. It just wasn't right.
He did breathe a soft sigh when Voice rested his head against him. "I'm not mad. I was just that, yes, worried. I didn't know how the dog would act once it was free and the idea of anything happening to you..."
That didn't sit well with him, not one tiny iota, nope. Never.
He did, however, chuckle faintly at the whacking of that tail. He didn't move from his spot though, merely half-looked at the happy thing from his spot. "That would be its tail, wagging away, whacking at us. I think it might just be glad to be free but, on that same note, it might just like you, at this point."
It was an option!
