Maybe the look Nettle gave him was a disappointed one, like that was a really stupid questioon -- but maybe, also, it was to cover up the fact that it was a really good question, and one that he didn't have the first clue how to answer. There was a little hesitation, a breath too long of silence, before he sniffed sharply at Ash.
"Well, I'll find you, won't I? We have our ways."

Re: [B] In deep [Turn to Ash + Nettle]
It didn't quite answer the question, not really, except that it sort of did. Ash frowned as he worked through it, tail flicking back and forth before he finally just gave a little shake of his head, accepting that there must be more to the ascended among them than he had heard. They did have mysterious gifts, after all.
"I suppose we have a deal, then?" Brows arched as he asked it, head tipping a little.

Re: [B] In deep [Turn to Ash + Nettle]
Nettle was quiet for a long breath, like maybe he already regretted this -- but then he let out a rough little noise, halfway disgusted, and bobbed his head in a nod -- starting back toward the water with another absent swish of his tail.
"Done, then. May your seed be fruitful." Did it matter that he sounded sarcastic in his blessing? Hopefully it wouldn't affect how well it worked.
