Name Origin: Insults filled him with irate anger, almost irrationally so. One night, he couldn't sleep because of the stewing anger. So, he sought out the offender, creeping carefully through the swamp waters. He got caught on branches and reeds, and no matter how much he tried, he could not break free.
He took being restrained as a sign, and returned to camp. From then on, he would not lash out so. Because those who offended him? Would get their comeuppance in due time.

Name Origin: A pair of lambs had been separated from the herd. Their parents searched high and low for them, growing desperate as the sun fell and night crept in. The rest of the herd joined them, but as the light vanished the search was called off and everyone returned - all but one doe.
The next morning, as the sun came back up over the horizon, the lambs' fretful parents spotted the doe returning, with a lamb clinging to her either side. The family was overjoyed to be reunited, and the doe received her thanks.

Name Origin: Known for both his prickly demeanor and prickly protrusions, he rarely found himself able to participate in battle - much to his annoyance - as other tribes found themselves unable to procure a fittingly equal match.
He is called in as a last resort. In raids and in battles he brings a swift - if not notably more bloody - end.

It breaks something within her, looses a piece of herself, and she wants to go with them. They are strange and she wishes to see their world but even after the obelisk is renewed, she finds herself in the mountains. She makes up her mind to leave; she finds herself back at the beginning. She is always in its shadow, "You may hold me without touch, but I am not yours," she growls at it after another failed attempt to leave.

Name Origin: It wasn't intentional, but survival instincts have a way of kicking in and overriding all the preferences that comfort and abundance can give. They tasted like dirt, others made him question his senses, and some nearly killed him, but he was still alive. Trapped in the earth after escaping from the previous place, he couldn't get out. Their root structures were invasive and provided sustenance thouh. And when an avalanche broke the mountain enough for him to escape a second time, he emerged better, and newer. He had adapted and was going to be just fine.

Name Origin: This totoma was always looking and searching for items inside the ground. Others thought him eccentric and couldn't understand his love of shiny stones. But something about digging the earth and finding gems hidden in the ground appealed to his nature. It felt right to stomp the earth and pull the ground inside out. It took skill as well as strength. He felt like an outcast towards other Totoma. He related to these stones and felt very much like them. Like he was a hidden gem among the mud as well.
