One night, he couldn't sleep because of the stewing anger. So, he sought out the offender, creeping carefully through the swamp waters. He got caught on branches and reeds, and no matter how much he tried, he could not break free.
He took being restrained as a sign, and returned to camp. From then on, he would not lash out so. Because those who offended him? Would get their comeuppance in due time.

Their parents searched high and low for them, growing desperate as the sun fell and night crept in. The rest of the herd joined them, but as the light vanished the search was called off and everyone returned - all but one doe.
The next morning, as the sun came back up over the horizon, the lambs' fretful parents spotted the doe returning, with a lamb clinging to her either side. The family was overjoyed to be reunited, and the doe received her thanks.

They tasted like dirt, others made him question his senses, and some nearly killed him, but he was still alive. Trapped in the earth after escaping from the previous place, he couldn't get out. Their root structures were invasive and provided sustenance thouh. And when an avalanche broke the mountain enough for him to escape a second time, he emerged better, and newer. He had adapted and was going to be just fine.

Totoma's Name: Hidden Gem Owner Username: Tara de Draiocht Link to uncert:xx Name Origin: This totoma was always looking and searching for items inside the ground. Others thought him eccentric and couldn't understand his love of shiny stones. But something about digging the earth and finding gems hidden in the ground appealed to his nature. It felt right to stomp the earth and pull the ground inside out. It took skill as well as strength. He felt like an outcast towards other Totoma. He related to these stones and felt very much like them. Like he was a hidden gem among the mud as well.
