Seemingly as soon as it all begins; it ends. Food stops flying, everyone are kin again(though maybe a bit discombobulated after all that), and things have gone silent save for a few soft clucks or squeaks from actual chickens and mice.

Story clears his throat and squares his shoulders as though to shake off the fact that he is absolutely covered in mash root vegetables and berry sludge.

"Yes," he 'hmms' out carefully, "well. That was certainly something that ... happened."

I'm going to raffle the prizes off in three parts -

The marshfowl may have one the battle, but the mice won the war!
The mice are the overall winners!

Kin of all walks really showed up to represent the mice! They got a lot of steps in as tribute to the tiny warriors.
