The Zikwa and Totoma come originally from different, rivaling, tribes. Their tribes, since before their birth, never saw eye to eye and often found themselves butting heads and challenging one another over territory. When the leaders of both tribes had children, the Totoma's parents decided to leave their child near the rivaling tribe. The Zikwa's tribe adopted the young child immediately, not wanting them to die, and treated her as their own.

The young Totoma and Zikwa met as small children and instantly became best friends. They did everything together. They were inseparable, and growing up the two shared almost every waking moment with one another. However, the young Totoma eventually was approached by someone from their birth tribe during one of the few times the two weren't near one another. Curious, as any young child would when presented with a chance to get to know their origin, the Totoma didn't turn the kin away. While they loved their tribe, they had always felt as if there was something else out there.

The meetings continued, and at first they were innocent. The Totoma learned about their birth family and home, and little was asked of them. However, the Zikwa began to notice their best friend was sneaking off, without them, more and more. Worried, the young Zikwa one day followed after their friend.

That was a mistake.

That was the day the kin who had been meeting the Totoma finally stated why they kept returning. The Totoma had been place by the tribe in hopes they'd adopt her and she'd eventually come to her birth tribe with valuable information. It was then they asked the Totoma to give them information about the tribe. The Zikwa, hurt and feeling betrayed, fled from the scene, not hearing the Totoma firmly tell the other she'd wouldn't ever do such a thing. By the time the Totoma returned to the tribe lands he found the clearing empty. The Zikwa had told their family and tribe about what they heard, and they have rapidly picked up and fled.

After this event, the two will feel a pull towards one another as they finish growing. The Zikwa will wonder if what they had did was right, but also feel a deep hurt in their chest that haunts them, stopping them from befriending others. The Totoma will want to find the tribe and her long lost friend in hopes to tell them the truth. Through RP, the two will finally collide again, and the truth will be revealed. It'll be a rocky beginning, but the two were almost born to always be in each others lives and they'll reconcile.
