Taking a deep breath, Melon downed the concoction. It was… a shock.

The initial taste was intensely sweet, like the ripest summer berries, followed by a sharp, almost metallic tang that made his tongue tingle. Then, a wave of warmth spread through his chest. It wasn't just physical, I felt his mind begin to… unravel. His perceptions shifted. The sounds of the tent seemed to intensify, the whispers growing louder, the laughter closer. The blurry forest backdrop began to shimmer and move, as if the trees themselves were dancing. The air around him buzzed with an unseen energy.

2. The blue dryad is making fermented drinks with you in the back of the trailer park forest clearing. She wants you to test out her latest concoction. What is the flavor or result of drinking this new experiment?

Moonlit certainly wasn’t a roofing expert, but the absurdity of the situation, made her want to dive right in. Her mind raced, flipping through possible solutions. Duct tape, leaves, and a fitted sheet.. that couldn’t be the entire challenge, could it? Then she remembered The Greatest Show’s words: “Actions might not make sense to you.”

“Alright,” Moonlit said, her voice sounding a little shaky. “Let’s see what we can do.” First, we’ll need to inspect the damage. Perhaps we can use the most stable section of the sheet to cover the largest tear. She helped her to carefully maneuver the sheet over the opening, trying to overlap the existing roof material as best as they could. Then, she began layering the leaves and would use the duct tape to seal the leaves in place and along the seams of the fitted sheet, creating a waterproof barrier. She noticed she could use the vines that were already poking through the opening as extra support to weigh down to sheet.

Finally, Moonlit stepped back, surveying there work with a mix of relief and bewilderment. The roof was.. well, it was something. It was a patchwork of fabric, foliage, and tape that looked like it might just hold out against a light sprinkle, but it was a roof.

1. The green dryad talks to you about fixing the roof in their trailer house overgrown with vines and branches poking in from the trees outside. She only has duct tape, leaves, and a fitted sheet to use to do it. How would you go about helping her?
