Deadly Nightshade's next encounter was with a bright orange wolf. Giving it some space, she didn't bother trying to get it's attention. That shuppy must be somewhere.

A Water Crab has appeared!

As she was bending down to get some fresh water from the nearby lake, she felt something scuttling on her leg. Looking down, she saw a purple spiny hermit crab climbing up her fir. "I envy your spiky exterior, but not today, pal," she said, nudging it off of her foot.

Deadly Nightshade passed by the bright orange wolf again as she continued through the tall grass. Hopefully it didn't scare away the shuppy. She could probably get some good rep with The Cres if she were to bring it back to one of their members.

A Wish Furb has appeared!

Deadly Nightshade felt eyes on her as she continued on. Turning slowly, she locked eyes with the furb sitting under a gnarled root of a tree. "You are so so creepy," she said, quickening her pace to create some distance between her and the furb.

Deadly Nightshade easily saw the bright yellow fox crouched down by a pond of water. It was probably hunting for some minnows to snack on.

Deadly Nightshade was not prepared to see an oddbody octofurb in this area. They were a bit new and she was getting used to seeing them. It looked at her with it's dusty purple eyes as she passed. "So, so creepy," she mumbled to herself.

The same yellow and white furb skittered right in her way as she passed the purple furb. Gasping, her fur stood on end as she backpedaled a few steps. Changing direction, she kept looking over her shoulder.

Deadly Nightshade, despite herself, let out a fearful yelp as the same yellow and white furb rolled out in front of her. Nearly tripping it was so close, she jumped clear over it and went into a trot to try and escape it.

Deadly Nightshade let out a sigh of relief when the next yellow thing she encountered was the shuppy she was actually looking for. "Do you creatures eat regular furbies? Asking for a friend," she said sarcastically.

She sighed with relief when the shuppy seemed to show interest. Looking around, Deadly Nightshade picked up a stick and started waving it about in front of the shuppy. Wiggling around excitedly, she lured the shuppy in Celery's direction and played some tug-of-war with it to keep it following her.

Ragged Breaths hadn't done much with the Winter Market this year, but taking what would hopefully be a relaxing walk and looking at some familiars seemed like something fun she could do. Hopefully it wouldn't take her long to see the fabled shuppy and then she could go back amongst her furbs and furs to get warm.
