She'd had met the most wonderful buck, he was list the swamp itself. She now found herself carrying children, his. She needed advice and heard rumors, so she was on a mission now.

Tidal Terror paused in the midst of her morning  fishing trip. She looked up, feeling a pull in the back of her mind. The call. Someone was looking for a legendary...she had grown somewhat used to the feeling by now.

The totoma shifted into a turtle before slipping into the water to start paddling off towards whoever was out there trying to find her counsel.

If she was lucky, she would get there sooner than if she had walked in her normal form.

She walked lost in thought for a bit. Just out of it enough to not realize where she was even walking now. Thirsty, she was thirsty now. Lightless walked over to the water for a drink when she noticed something moving in it. A shell, some sort of turtle? And it was moving right towards her, how odd.

Soon enough, she pulled herself out of the water near Lightless, and shifted to her totoma form. Huffing and puffing a bit, she greeted, "Hail and well-met! It seems you have been looking for me?"

Tidal Terror shook off the last of the water on her flanks. "That was a good swim...very invigorating..." the totoma panted, apparently having pushed herself a bit harder than she intended.

Oh. The turtle turned into a Totoma. She'd heard that the legendaries had abilities but she had never seen them before with her own two eyes.

"Yes, thank you for seeking me out. Please rest a moment from your swim if you need." Lightless was in no rush and anyway she wanted to be on this ones good side.

"Thank you kindly!" Tidal Terror laughed, then coughed a little more. "I may need it."

She felt a bit sheepish, but did not let it keep her down for long.

The moment her lungs stopped burning, she shook her flanks until it no longer felt wet, and looked to the kimeti. "So! How can I help you this fine day?"

Lightless waited patiently as the totoma regained her breath. "I heard that those such as you can help new to be mothers? I've never had children before and I just want to make sure they turn out well".

Tidal Terror nodded. "You have heard the truth! We help whoever we can who is expecting... And may I say congratulations! The first time is a wonderful, but scary thing, I know. And I understand wanting them to have the best."

She thought of her own pregnancy, her own blessing by an old friend. Raising her lambs... She let out a fond sigh, then shook her head. Ah, memories.

"Is there anything you are hoping for them in particular?" she asked of the other doe.

She thought for a moment. "I just want them to be happy."

The totoma nodded. She could work with that. "A good thing to want! Then may they find joy in the simple things, in the quiet moments. And may they appreciate the joy of having such a caring mother."
