[PRP] Darkly Meeting (Lovecraft x Abyss)

Being complimented for something that had set her apart was... refreshing, to say the least. The buck was clearly interested in her, and there was frankly nothing that had appealed to her as much in quite some time as some singularly-focused attention.

She clicked her beak again, and started wading away from him, intent on seeing how far he'd go to keep her in his company.

[Jynk]

Lovecraft gave a slight shrug and followed along after the doe, wading a pace behind her. Perhaps socializing was not a strong trait of hers. Suited him fine. He wasn't that big on socializing, either. He was, however, intrigued by her. It wasn't often that he met one like himself and he thought he knew them all by now. Well, there was no hope for it now, other than to follow and see if she would allow him to enjoy her company awhile longer.

Tag was a universal game, wasn't it? Abyss turned back only once, to make sure the buck was following. She flashed him a smile, and worked her way up to a prance.

The buck was amused. Sure, he'd play her game if it meant learning more about her. He picked up his pace and cantered after the doe, water sloshing away before his larger form.

Abyss kicked her hooves up just a little further as she sped towards a particularly choice clearing. She could slow down in a little, let him overtake her... when it came to company, she had decided.

He would most definitely do.
