She didn't find the father, but she did find the mother, and she was looking good. Something about the tautness of her hide and the well-fed look to her- it was pretty obvious that the condition she found herself in might be uncomfortable, but not dangerous. Still, she hoped the stranger was taking her own health seriously- kids took a lot out of you, even when they were eggs or sacs and not lambs. She cleared her throat to let the mother know she was there- she didn't want to scare her. Fathers, those were for scaring, sometimes, when they could be playful about it. Mothers, though, you couldn't have that kind of fun with. "Why don't you take a load off? Here, have some fish." She proffered a strip of dried salmon to the acha. "In your condition, you need the extra protein. I'm sensing this isn't your first time, is it?" Her eyes crinkled around the edges as she smiled. With some does, you could just tell.
