Thistledown "...a tall, handsome person with pale, perfect skin and an
immense amount of hair, as pale and shining as thistle-down.
His cold, blue eyes glittered and he had long dark eye-brows,
which terminated in an upward flourish. He was dressed exactly
like any other gentleman, except that his coat was of the
brightest green imaginable - the colour of leaves in early summer."
- Johnathan Strange & Mr. Norrell by Suzanna Clarke
Thistle is a creep and extremely self-interested. He pretends to be a good-natured and beneficent friend but really he is only in it for his own gain. He is all charm and allure until it is time for him to get his way. He will gladly do favors for other kin -- but for a price. Sometimes a rather high price. "A lock of your tailhair. The tip of your horn. Your left eye."

Traveller's Joy "Luck be with you, and Traveller's Joy!"
Traveller thinks she is kind of like a superhero. She is the self-styled protectress of wanderers. She is, however, a bit of a derp about it, and tends to make a fool of herself occasionally. She is clumsy and ungraceful.

Fox is basically the acha version of a court jester. While outwardly he appears a bit of a fool, his joking comments usually hold some bit of inner wisdom. He can say things that others might shy away from because while they might seem rude or outright scandalous coming from others' mouths, a fool is (usually) excused his misdemeanors. Fox tumbles and frolics and prances like an acrobat, agile and light on his feet -- an ability which sometimes proves itself necessary if he goes a bit too far with his jokes and has to dodge an annoyed kick or bite from the person unlucky enough to be his target.
Frost is an a*****e. He doesn't say much, but when he does it is the most harsh and biting and sharp thing that he can think of. He will often sit back and listen to a conversation for a long time, only to dismiss it rudely and walk away once its over. He spends most of his time with his sister Hailstorm, and together they don't make very many friends. It's unclear whether or not Frost even likes her.

Desert Spring "To accept a little death is worse than death itself."
Spring is stubborn and at times rebellious, although she cares deeply for her family and always comes back to them in the end. Most of her rebellion is, in fact, simply to prove herself strong enough, brave enough, smart enough to protect her family.
Spring grew up in the swamp with her sister Many Voices, and reconnected with her father, Walks Without Rhythm, in young adulthood. She and Many Voices now live with Slide and his tribe in the Borderlands.
Moonshadow playful, happy-go-lucky, goes with the flow
Moonshadow is a free-spirited, genuinely happy doe who takes what is given to her in stride. It is difficult to bring her down, even in the face of great disappointment or danger. She will always try her best and will always trust for the best in others. She lives in the moment, not worrying about what has happened in the past and what might happen in the future -- she is all about the now, and enjoying it as much as possible.
Touching the Ground is loving and fond of companionship but also wary of becoming too attached to a doe she likes (mostly due to past relationship issues; she knows her own heart, and it is prone to certain weaknesses). To make up for this she prides herself on being very capable of taking care of herself on her own. She's not overly feminine but has a soft side, though she mostly keeps it to herself. She can hold her own and has no issues with getting down and dirty to get a job done. Most of her close friends are male, and she is often considered just "one of the guys". She is not shy and will often speak her mind, but is also polite when she needs to be.
Parsnip is gleeful. He's a nice guy but also a terrible flirt, and has ended up hurting the feelings of more than one doe because he simply doesn't pay that much attention. He's not scheming or malicious, though -- he honestly just doesn't realize that some of the things he does can be hurtful.
Best friends (lol) with Phoenix's Speaks Once. Backstory to come. They probably traveled to the swamp together. Asks-Again has become adept at reading her body language, and they have pretty intense (if apparently one-sided) conversations.
Ghost-flower's curiosity often besets her ability to be polite. In her quest, she will ask questions that most kimeti probably wouldn't -- not to be difficult, but to become smarter. Since she could walk, Ghost-flower has wandered in an attempt to sate her curiosity. She's a smart girl, but fairly naive, and unaware of the darkness of life.

Haunted by the memory of a terrible sandstorm that left her alone in the desert for days without water. The strange hallucinations and mirages she saw out on the sands left her a little scarred, but she has never told anyone what they were.
Bear Ghost is the strong and silent type who doesn't say much. His most common responses to pretty much any interaction are a shrug of the shoulders or a blink of the eyes. But there must be something underneath all that quietness, right? It'll take someone special to find out.
Happy bouncy hyper interested in everything has her nose in everyone's business! What's that you're doing there it looks interesting can I help? Can I can I can I? 8D
