Real Big Fish would make an interesting legendary because of her deep connection to the swamp’s aquatic ecosystem. She knows miles of back streams; she’s gone fishing in mangrove stands untouched by kin since time immemorial; she knows dozens of techniques and is keen on sharing them and helping as many kin as possible enjoy their time at the fishing hole.
In addition to her connection to the water, she’s also got a very affirming way of looking at the world. The Totoma value achievement, and she personally values whatever kin try hardest at. It doesn’t have to be a feat of strength or skill; anything someone really cares about is made important by virtue of that emotional input. She believes that everyone has the potential to do great things, whether those deeds are small or vast- and she loves to celebrate and uplift others’ successes. She understands that it can be challenging finding one’s self-worth, and even though other kin don’t earn their names, she still encourages them to be bold and to find their strengths to forge their identities. As a legendary, her blessings would be for strength – of mind, body, and conviction.
