But still she found herself leaving one morning and searching. She knew the search could happen in a variety of ways and so she let her legs carry her where they wanted to, and traveled as she felt the urge. It was growing late though, and cold, and now, well she was looking for somewhere safe and protected from the elements for the night. Wearily she found herself searching, ready to rest for the night, and start fresh when light touched the sky again. She traveled slower, and tired faster right now, as round as she was.

She smiled softly, and inclined her head off in the distance towards her own den. Half-Truth had gone off to help others, and the too-spacious home would be more than safe for the traveling doe.

"Here. Why don't you stay the night with me, tell me your story. I can offer my blessing and ensure you safe dreams." There was a gentility in her voice, a twinkle in her eye.

"What's your name?"

Twilight looked up at the sudden voice addressing her and she gave a smile at the beautiful mare before her, a nod of her head given. "You're right it is. I was just looking for somewhere to rest for the night." oh indeed she was.

The offer made to her though, it lifted her spirits. "Really? That's so sweet of you, thank you!" she found a small burst of energy filling her, so she could walk along with the other easily. "I'm Wakes At Twilight, you?"

She walked beside the mare, letting her lead since she knew the area, unlike herself. "My story is pretty simple, a nice fling with an even nicer buck, and now I carry life within me." which was a welcome thing! There was nothing special to her, or her story in the end, not to her, anyhow.

"Roses in Bloom. Something of a notorious mother around these parts," Roses laughed, moving to welcome the baby-laden doe inside. It was difficult not to set to immediately doting on her, but the older mare managed to keep her distance, not jumping too eagerly into care. If Wakes at Twilight desired it, she would ask for it, it was that simple. Rose could respect it.

...But oh, she just loved mothers to be! It was just. Such a weakness!

"Well, my congratulations to you! It's always exciting to be expecting young, I think. Is there anything you're hoping for with them? Wants, dreams?"

"It's wonderful to meet you Roses!" it truly was, and not just because she was a mare. Oh no, it was always nice to meet new kin honestly. She gave a soft laugh. "Notorious you say?" a curious note from her.

The question on what she might be wanting, or hoping for the life she carried earned a thoughtful note. She hated to admit she hadn't quite gotten that far but... then that was maybe a good thing to ask for right?

"That my children have the foresight to know what they want, before they find themselves in a situation that leaves them off guard. If that makes sense?" she wasn't sure she phrased it well.

"I'm afraid I have something of a weakness for mothers to be, and aiding them where I'm able. It's just..." She sighed softly, a fond smile on her face as she looked over the younger doe. "I love helping. I love knowing there's new life to be brought into the world. What our children will turn out to be, how they'll live beyond us. It's just wonderful, isn't it?" And it was there in her tone, how much she felt it. How much she loved the prospect of helping, lending a helping hoof to others.

Roses in Bloom listened along, nodding as the doe spoke.

"I like that very much. Forethought and caution, in a way. I shall certainly offer my blessing to you and your children, and hope for that and more."
