Howdy howdy here's my pref list!

The combined force of everyone's physical and verbal attacks sets the beast ablaze. It screeches and writhes in agony, its dark wooden appendages splintering and snapping from its body. Without the support, the monster begins to keel over, towards the Stump.

"EVERYBODY MOVE!" Tricks shouts. She looks around as the kin scatter to the corners of the ship - but one blind zikwa stands just in the way of the beast's descent. Tricks squints and recognizes her. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?"

One of her sworn enemies had been on the Stump the whole time??? Tricks had been throwing rocks at her log face for weeks!

Four years. She had been waiting four years for this moment. This was the moment of revenge right? But then... why did she feel so... conflicted?

Almost in slow-motion, the monster lets out a final gurgle and descends.

"UGH!" Tricks shouts at the sky and then the zikwa. "REMEMBER DEATH! YOU JERK!"

She darts forward and slams into the zikwa, sending Death spinning out of the way of the collapsing monster. Tricks stands in the spot Remember Death stood before and laughs. Wow, why'd she do that? Was this the self-sacrificing heroics Mud was always talking about in his stories? What a way to go though.

"REMEMBER THIS!" She screams before the beast hits the deck and swallows her whole.

The Stump explodes on impact, wood and kin flying into the ocean at great speeds. The pressure is immense and everyone is dragged down, down, down until there's nothing but darkness.

You swim as best you can, the cold seeping into your bones. Everywhere is black, you have no sense of where you're swimming - if you're going towards the surface or even deeper towards your doom. Your lungs burn, when suddenly - you see it! A spark of light in the distance. You swim up, up, up until you breach the surface, coughing and sputtering. You drag yourself to shore weakly and blink.

You're back at the market.
